Zero To Spearo Lessons

Spearfishing Guides

What this is

  • Private guided hunts (1–2 people max)

  • Built for people who already have some experience

  • Focused on finding fish and making it happen

 

What you’ll work on

  • Closing distance without spooking fish

  • Positioning and timing

  • Reading reef, current, and conditions

  • Making clean, confident shots

 

What to expect

  • We go where the conditions are best that day

  • Real hunting — not just swimming around

  • I’ll guide, but you’re in it the whole time

  • Adjustments in real time based on what we’re seeing

 

 Who this is for?

  • Divers with basic experience

  • People who want to improve consistency

  • Anyone ready to move beyond beginner level

Bluewater and Deep Reef Hunting

What this is

  • Advanced dives in deeper water and offshore conditions

  • Focused on patience, awareness, and timing

  • A different pace than reef hunting — slower, more deliberate

 

 What you’ll work on

  • Open water awareness and positioning

  • Deeper drops and breath control

  • Reading subtle movement and fish behavior

  • Shot timing when opportunities are limited

 

 What to expect

  • Conditions have to line up — flexibility is key

  • Longer waits between opportunities

  • More mental than physical

 

Who this is for

  • Experienced divers only

  • Comfortable with depth and open water

  • Confident in equalization and breath control

 

Where?

  • Offshore and deeper reef areas

  • Location chosen based on conditions

 

 What to bring

  • Your gear (recommended for this level)

  • Water / snacks

  • Strong awareness and patience

  • No Bananas!

Zero To Spearo
(Two day and Full Day)

​

  Day one: 2 hours of Kairos Spearfishing Curriculum followed by 2 hours of underwater target practice and technique.

Max two people

No fish/all technique

​

Day two: Guided lesson hunting select species of fish

(4 hours)

All classes include gear. Long blade fins are provided and are mandatory.

Adults (18+) Only

One Day Spearfishing Training 

One Day: 2 hours of Kairos Spearfishing Curriculum followed by 2 hours of underwater target practice and technique.

Must have spearfishing and freediving experience.

Intro to Freediving/ Water Confidence

For anyone new to the water, unsure about snorkeling, or a little anxious getting in — this is where you start. Learn the basics of breathing, equalization, and moving comfortably in the ocean.

  • Never snorkeled before

  • Not fully comfortable in the ocean

  • Feel anxious getting in the water

  • Want to build a solid foundation

 

What you’ll learn

  • Basic breathing and staying calm

  • Equalization (clearing your ears)

  • How to swim and move comfortably

  • Building confidence in the water

 

How it works

  • Start shallow and go at your pace

  • One-on-one or small private session

  • Step-by-step guidance the whole time

  • Focus on comfort first, then progression
